There wasn't much going on this week, it just passed by in a blur.
Life#
- I worked for three days during the May Day holiday, so I didn't go out to play. I spent one day at home tidying up my wardrobe, and another day I went to a friend's house to play mahjong and lost miserably. Is it really that unlucky to be in your zodiac year? I've been losing at cards all year.
- After playing cards, we went to have a late-night snack together. It was the first time I had Da Sheng barbecue, and it was surprisingly delicious and cheap. It received unanimous praise.
- It's been a long time since I bought any clothes. I added several items to my shopping cart, but I just can't make up my mind to buy them. I paid off my credit card and car loan with this month's salary, and now I have nothing left. It doesn't feel like I bought much, but I'm always broke every month.
- The company has started laying off employees. The contract for the project I am currently working on is about to expire, and it seems that the client has no plans to renew it. It's probably in trouble. Let's wait and see what the company's arrangement is. There will always be compensation if I really get laid off.
- I started trying to write weekly reports. My writing skills are poor, and I used to only write for myself. Now I'm posting them publicly on xlog, hoping to stick with it.
- I continue to memorize vocabulary and have started memorizing a new word book.
